The Blue Screen of Death

This post is written on an antique machine which finds websites challenging – only an advantage if you want to cook a meal while your chosen site loads. My usual PC is elsewhere being sorted out.

This is surprising really. It has two diagnostic programs both of which tell me that there are no problems with the system. One of them not only reports this but tries to make me feel good about it.

‘Congratulations! Your PC is in good shape.’

Right, so if it’s in good shape why is it crashing, why the blue screen of death?

For my money – to be shelled out shortly – this casts doubt on the effectiveness  of registry cleaners. As does the the gentleman who’s going to sort the problem out, something he has done before. He stopped short of bad words but made his opinion clear.
